The Whinless Down Academy Trust aims to provide excellent opportunities for local children, in local schools, run by local people. It is a primary school only Trust, based in Dover, Kent, comprising of Vale View, Priory Fields and St Martins. Collaborative working is integral to our trust approach, and we continue to support and learn from each other.

We have a friendly and supportive team who work in close collaboration across the Trust to secure best outcomes for children through an exciting and engaging curriculum, tailored to meet the needs of our pupils. The safeguarding of our children is of paramount importance, and we are rigorous in our recruitment procedures. This post is subject to a satisfactory DBS check, and references will be pursued. As part of our safer recruitment process, we will conduct an online search of all shortlisted applicants. The purpose of this search is to identify any matters that might relate directly to our legal duty to meet the safeguarding duties set out in KCSIE.
