The role will require the individual to interact within the wider multidisciplinary safeguarding team in a very busy office environment, dealing with complex and sensitive issues, and signposting to additional support as required. The role is cross college, and therefore work across both our Medway and Maidstone campuses.

If you are highly organised, with an attention to detail, able to work in a busy environment and passionate about supporting young people to achieve then we would love to hear from you.

This new post is initially a fixed one-year contract, 35 hours a week, 40 weeks a year (term time only). Please note the pro rata salary is £18,784 to £22,150 per annum.

You will have 5 GCSE’s including Maths and English at grade 4 and above (or equivalent). 
Key skills include: Proficient in use of IT systems and applications; excellent communication skills and command of English, both written and spoken; Excellent organisational skills and with meticulous attention to detail; Ability to deal sensitively with young people, parents and visitors some of whom may be anxious or concerned; Team player with the ability to work methodically in a busy environment and meet deadlines.
