HLTA Maths Special Needs Position

 

Start Date:             September 2024

Hours:                   39 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

Salary:                   £26,485.00 + SEN allowance

Closing Date:         Monday 20th May 2024

Interviews:            Tuesday 18th June 2024

 

We would like to recruit an HLTA to join our team.  An HLTA qualification is desirable but not essential, but you will need to be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience of leading, at some level, within the classroom.

You will be required to complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities under the supervision of qualified teachers. This may involve planning, preparing and delivering learning activities for individuals/groups or for whole classes and monitoring pupils and assessing, recording and reporting on pupil’s achievement, progress and development.

We are looking for an energetic practitioner who:-

Is passionate about teaching and providing the learners at KITE college with the very best opportunities.

Is willing to plan & lead in the delivery of Maths lessons.

Wants to learn and develop their understanding and knowledge of all aspects of teaching and learning.

Is able to manage their work and prioritise tasks.

Provide cover for colleagues as required.
