Plaxtol Primary School is looking for an outstanding teacher to teach a mixed age class of children in KS1/KS2 from September 2024. The class has a full-time teaching assistant. You should be an excellent team player and keen to contribute to the life of a small school. Ideally, you will have taught or have knowledge of all the key stages. We are happy to consider a job share. 

Our school offers a small, caring environment within a strong community where every child and adult is valued. The children at Plaxtol are an absolute delight; you will be able to concentrate on delivering an outstanding education to willing pupils. Ofsted visited Plaxtol Primary School in March 2023 and we continue to be a Good school.

Plaxtol Primary School is located in the heart of the beautiful Kent countryside, seven miles from Sevenoaks. We have a range of fantastic facilities, including our own on site Wildlife Area.

Our ethos is to provide an excellent all round education for every one of our pupils by working together - school, family and community. By harnessing their thirst for learning, we support our pupils to grow and develop at their own unique and individual pace.

Plaxtol is a small school and currently has 86 pupils on role.
