This is a fabulous opportunity for a dedicated and organised person to join the school team at Dymchurch Primary School which is part of Our Community Multi Academy Trust. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic teacher with recent experience working in EYFS to join the school’s successful and supportive team.  This role is more suitable for an experienced teacher who is looking for a new challenge however we encourage anyone to apply who feels they have the necessary skills and abilities to fulfil the role.

Dymchurch Primary School is a coastal school with 160 pupils on our roll. We are a hardworking, supportive team who are passionate about improving the life chances of the young people in our care. We are one of ten schools within Our Community Multi Academy Trust.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be punctual and well-organised
  • Communicate well and be confident working alongside and managing others
  • Have good teamwork skills and be prepared to get stuck in
  • Respect confidentiality and the potential sensitivities of working in a school
  • Have experience working in a primary or infant school
  • Be able to demonstrate in their application that they can fulfil the main duties of the job description and person specification as a minimum

The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check along with other pre-employment checks which must be undertaken before the role is confirmed by the school.

Dymchurch primary school is located within the stunning Romney Marsh, surrounded by coast and country, it is a beautiful and unique environment. An integral part of the Romney Marsh landscape includes the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway and the wonderful sound of the miniature locomotives can be heard within the grounds of the school.
