Luton Primary School are looking to appoint an energetic and enthusiastic SEND Administration Assistant to join our friendly, inclusive Team.  Do you have the ability to inspire, motivate and support pupils? If so, Luton Primary School could be for you!

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Provide administrative support in SEND meetings, taking notes and locating files and otherinformation as requested
  2. Type up notes of meetings and SEND Review documents etc, in order to ensure all records arekept up to date and accurate, so supporting the education of our students with SEND
  3. Maintain accurate files and records of students with SEND
  4. Maintain accurate records of all students with medical needs and ensure any medication thatneeds to be kept in school is stored safely and administered correctly
  5. Support the SENCO with the SEND identification, assessment, monitoring, and review process ensuring all records are updated regularly
  6. Administer initial screening assessments to assist with SEND identification
  7. Complete administration of student referrals and support the SENCO in preparing for a range of meetings with external agencies
  8. Oversee room bookings and appointments for external visitors and manage the appointment diary for the SENCO
  9. Ensure accurate records are kept regarding the needs of students with specific accessarrangements in SATs
  10. Support with the gathering of evidence from teachers regarding students’ normal way of working
